For a second visa you need 3 months (88 calendar days) of specified subclass 462 work completed while holding your first Work and Holiday visa; for a third, 6 months (179 calendar days) of specified subclass 462 work completed while holding your second Work and Holiday visa.

First Work and Holiday (462) visa places for Chinese passport holders are managed through Home Affairs' pre-application ballot rather than a first-come cap. Once you hold a 462 visa, the specified work rules for a second or third visa are the standard subclass 462 rules — farm work and construction in Northern or Regional Australia, fishing and forestry in Northern Australia only, tourism and hospitality in northern and remote areas, and no mining.
